The pickleball match began with Benjamin Johns and Anna Leigh Waters serving first for their respective teams. After a back-and-forth start, Johns and Waters took a 5-2 lead. Irvine and Alshon clawed their way back to tie the game at 5-5. Johns and Waters then pulled ahead again, winning the first game 11-5.

The second game was just as close. The score was tied several times throughout, but ultimately Johns and Waters dominated the final stretch, winning the game 11-4 and securing the match victory.
