After defeating Ben Johns in three games, Chris Haworth, the No. 11 seed, will face off against Staksrud in the final match. Their previous encounter in the Texas Open semifinals saw Haworth emerge victorious with a convincing 11-6, 11-2 win.

Staksrud, determined to avenge his only singles loss outside of a final this year, acknowledged the need for a new strategy. “I’m excited to face Chris again and will come up with a different game plan, as things didn’t work out well for me last time.”

The final will see Staksrud aiming for his fifth singles title of the season, while Haworth will strive for his maiden PPA title.
