New Pickleball Paradise Coming to Patriot Place This Season
Foxborough is about to serve up something exciting for sports enthusiasts and casual players alike — a brand-new, 17,000-square-foot outdoor pickleball facility is making its way to Patriot Place, right next to the iconic Gillette Stadium. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious about the fastest-growing sport in America, this new venue promises a thrilling addition to the region’s recreational offerings.
Six Courts, One Community
Developed in partnership with ELEVENO Pickleball, the upcoming facility will boast six dedicated pickleball courts, a shaded player lounge, and an atmosphere tailored to both competitive and social play. ELEVENO has already built a local fan base with its past events, including the Patriot Place Pickleball Classic, previously played on temporary courts. Now, they’re going all in — creating a permanent space that players of all skill levels can call home.
“This will be a pickleball haven for players of all ages and skill sets,” said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place.
Strategic Location & Seasonal Appeal
Located across from Trader Joe’s and Restoration Hardware Outlet, the courts are being built on the same site that hosts the beloved Winter Skate rink each holiday season. This means the courts will be open seasonally until the end of October, after which the space will transform back into an ice skating center — a clever dual use of space that keeps things active year-round.
So whether you’re rallying under the summer sun or skating under the winter stars, Patriot Place is becoming a true destination for active lifestyles.
