New Jersey 5s Bounce Back with Big Win Over Texas Ranchers at MLP Austin

The New Jersey 5s took care of business on Monday, taking down the Texas Ranchers 3-1 on their home turf to wrap up their MLP Austin campaign in style.

Coming off a tough DreamBreaker loss to the defending champions, the Dallas Flash, the 5s bounced back exactly the way a top-tier team should. With sharp execution, solid teamwork, and laser focus, New Jersey reminded everyone why they’re firmly in the playoff conversation.

Now sitting at 8-2 with 23 points, the 5s are heading back to Jersey with momentum on their side and eyes locked on the top of the leaderboard.

Team captain Zane Navratil emphasized the importance of resilience following Sunday’s close defeat.

“We just needed to have a goldfish memory. It’s a long, long season. We’ve got 25 matches apiece, so we’re going to win some, we’re going to lose some,” said Navratil. “Nobody’s going to end up with an undefeated season, and we had points left to get today.”

And get them they did. New Jersey came out sharp and focused, dominating early and never letting up. Here’s how the action unfolded on Monday:
