A violent attack occurred on a pickleball court at Confederation Park in Burnaby, BC, on Saturday, September 21st. A video shared with CTV News shows a man being aggressively pursued by an attacker. The victim was struck multiple times before falling to the ground, but fortunately suffered only minor injuries.

“Burnaby RCMP Cpl. Mike Kalanj provided additional information in an email. Upon arriving at the scene, police apprehended the suspect, who is accused of assaulting the victim with a glass bottle and other nearby objects. The 28-year-old is facing charges of assault with a weapon. Witnesses reported that the attacker was playing music on a speaker before initiating the assault.” See more on CTV News.
