The Proof of Workforce Foundation, a Santa Monica-based non-profit, has partnered with Bitcoin financial services company Fold and Pickle Pop to organize this innovative tournament. Set to take place on October 18 during the Peer to Pier Bitcoin Festival, this event promises to be a groundbreaking moment for pickleball enthusiasts.
Players will have the chance to win Bitcoin hardware wallet devices provided by CoinKite. “This will be an incredible event, bringing together two vibrant and rapidly growing communities—Bitcoiners and pickleball enthusiasts—to support the creative reuse of commercial space on the Third Street Promenade,” said Dom Bei, founder of Proof of Workforce.
